
Timothy Kraus
Senior Trader
Mr. Kraus has more than ten years of experience trading hedge fund portfolios, including long/short global healthcare and domestic equity. His trading expertise has consistently added basis points to portfolio performance as measured by ITG’s Transaction Cost Analysis and Abel Noser.
In addition, Mr. Kraus is extensively experienced with the following trading strategies: large, small, and micro-cap growth/value; along with execution in the Asian, European, Latin American and Canadian markets. He brings experience in trading options, futures, and programs, including pre-trade and post-trade analysis as well as insight on strategy implementation-agency, agency incentive, guaranteed benchmark and blind risk. Previously, Mr. Kraus was part of the equity trading team at Aberdeen Asset Management following the acquisition of the US investment management business of Gartmore Global Investments by Aberdeen.
Prior to Aberdeen, Mr. Kraus was an institutional client service representative at PBHG. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame in 1995, Mr. Kraus was a professional baseball player in the Chicago White Sox organization. Tim holds NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses.
