Gerald Holland
Chief Operating Officer
Gerald Holland is the Chief Operating Officer for AlphaOne Capital Partners. He has more than thirty years of investment industry experience and is an expert in the investment management of mutual funds, institutional accounts, alternative investments, fund of hedge funds, SMA Wrap and Stable Value products.
Before joining AlphaOne, Mr. Holland was the Senior-Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Gartmore Global Investments (U.S.), and Chief Financial Officer of Gartmore/Nationwide Mutual Funds. At Gartmore, he established an operating model with selective outsourcing of mainstay requirements such as portfolio accounting and transfer agency while internally maintaining Gartmore’s core competencies of investment management and distribution. He was responsible for the business operations of mutual fund, alternative investments, institutional separate accounts and separate account wrap product lines.
Prior to joining Gartmore, Mr. Holland was a Senior Vice-President at First Data Investor Services, Inc. where he managed the mutual fund administration division, which provided treasury, financial reporting, portfolio accounting, regulatory compliance, legal administration and distribution support to third-party clients. Mr. Holland’s professional experience also includes serving as Senior Vice-President of Finance and Administration for Delaware Management Company, Inc.
In addition, Mr. Holland was a Senior Compliance Examiner for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission, where he conducted examinations of SEC registered investment advisors, investment companies and transfer agents. He began his career as an Internal Revenue Agent for the United States Department of Treasury (IRS).
Mr. Holland holds an MBA in Accounting from Temple University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Joseph’s University.
